The challenge

Our team was brought in to design and build a password-less authentication that could be adopted across a suite of services within the clients portfolio. The goal was to allow users to create an ID with one service and then use the same authentication to quickly sign in and share their details with the other services in the ecosystem.

Final outcomes

Within 18 months we had run an in-depth discovery, created an authentication MVP, gone live with our first service and started rollout to other brands within the portfolio. Within our first 3 months of launch we had over 1 million sign ups, with over 550,000 new users consenting to global marketing. We also introduced passkey technology, with over 67% of users opting for it over SMS and email one time passwords.
